Subject:NEW Cursive kanji from Toyohiro
Posted By: Renato Thu, Jan 23, 2025 IP: 177.140.12.187

If you guys don't mind (particulary Mr. Nagy)
Here is another Toyohiro cursive kana challenge.

Also from the series "Eight Views of the Eastern Capital" supposedly: geese descending on Shinobazu Lake

東都八景 落雁 不忍池 - Tōto Hakkei Rakugan Shinobazu-ike"

"はくそり(ら) おつる かりう ***"(it lacks 3 kanji here I presume) This what I came with: 白蘇利(ら) 落つる 雁羽(う)* Hakusori(ra) otsuru kariu(...) - "The white [geese] descend, their feathers [fluttering]..."

Not much isn't? Dissapointed with mysef.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Renato

東都八景
落雁
不忍の池

空からまふ - Sora kara mau
影々はし - kage,kagebashi
つくなり - tsuku nari,
おつる - o-tsuru
かりかも - karigamo
みたい - mitai

Shadows dancing from the sky
creating a shadow-bridge、
they look like cranes and geese

For technical reasons alternative kanas are represented in their modern forms.

With regards,
I.Nagy

Wow...What beautiful image, Mr. Nagy! Drifting down from the sky all these "tsuru" and "karigamo" like a shadow fleeting down together as if in a dream... I loved it!
That's very kind of you!
Have a nice weekend with your family!
Renato
