I know that translating this whole text will be too much to ask, but can you let me know the main points of this text which appears on top of the Aizu-Do map. Does it say something to help relate the map itself with the 3 horizontal cartouches which are mysterious to me!

But my question was more about the text in small characters on top of the left panel. I would be very happy if you could just give me the general meaning and purpose of this text.

Here are the readings,
此山向やはり上杉領分山、さかのみち多し、
是、津川のほとりには越後國，御かぐらがたけ山上にて
かくらばやしの靑をりきる、ゆるいといふ樣又
越後より會津への道中は峠
The other side of the mountain is the territory of Uesugi's domain, and there are many paths. Here the banks of the Tsugawa river are in Echigo province.
As you descend from the green of the Kagura forest on the top of Mt.Mikagura-dake , you will find yourself on the road to Aizu from Echigo, there is the mountain pass which is more like a gentle slope.

津川よりのみちがえちごの本みちなり。
The road from Tsugawa is the main road to Echigo.

此山向越後付き領分より出羽の国庄内領分入りづるなり。
The other side of this mountain from the territory of Echigo belongs to Dewa province's territory,
