Subject:Pantings of Landscape and cranes
Posted By: Andrea Mon, Nov 18, 2024 IP: 79.19.139.61

Dear friends, I think the author of the landscape may be Kushiro Unsen 釧雲泉 (1759–1811). But my opinion is based only on a visual comparison. Can anyone confirm? While I have no idea who painted the cranes. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Andrea

It is Kushiro Unzen.

Signature,
雲泉山樵 Unzen the Woodcutter of the Mountains
Upper seal,
釧就 - Kushiro Ju - Ju - Original given name
Lower seal,
仲孚 - Chūfu - Courtesy name
Third seal,
興到筆随 - I am interested in painting
Fourth seal,
樂是幽居 - I am happy to live in seclusion

Seacond painting,
Could be the title
白鷗 - Shirokamome ‐White gull
Seal,
秋湖 - Shūkō

I cannot identify,

With regards,
I.Nagy

Thank you very much dear Nagy. I am very happy with your confirmation regarding Unsen. For the high painting, I think that perhaps it could be a pseudonym since cranes are represented and not seagulls. Best regards,
Andrea
