Pic.1,
松之圖 Picture of the Pine

Rough translation of the inscription,
This Reclining Dragon Pine tree is located in the garden of Mr. Ichii of Oichi Village, Waki District, Bizen Province,It has nine main and thousands of smaller contending branches with considerable weight,
It has a shape of a flat lying dragon. It is said the original tree was planted more than 100 years ago by the "Old Man of the Pine", the ancestor of the present owner. It was transplanted several times afterwards,The height of the tree is about 2 jo 5 shaku (ca. 7.5 m). The diameter of its trunk is about 1 jo (ca.3,3 m), Its length from the right to left is about 20 jo (66 m). It occupies about 15 sq. jo (ca. 160 sq,m), about more than 20 people can have seated under it.
This astonishing form is due to its careful growing.
