Hi All,
Profusely chased and stamped w/all around Buddhist decorations, the center of the tray has a nine-petal lotus flower covered in heavy gilt, demonstrating purity. Three circles at the rounded ends with a waisted perimeter, implying the symbol of three overlapping circles together demonstrate the importance of the number three in Buddhist teachings on the path of enlightenment.
Possibly crafted in Lucknow, hoping an expert might be able to share some knowledge of this beautiful work.
