Dear Dave,

Your celadon colored vase seems to be mould pressed with a decor of lotus and water lilies. The last two characters of the four-character mark in seal script read zhong guo (China). It is a nice decorative but fairly modern item. Based on the shape of the mark and the manner in which the footrim is done I would date your vase to the 1980s-1990s. With kind regards

Madria

The full mark reads Longquan Zhongguo - "Longquan China"

the Celadon glaze was made popular by the Longquan kilns in Zhejiang province of South-Eastern China

gotheborg.com suggests a dating of this in the very late 20th century as well.
