Subject:Re: 19th Century
Posted By: Robert Tue, Sep 03, 2024 I could be wrong but the particular the tone of the underglaze cobalt, the flower and grasses decoration in the reserve panels, and the fact that they are a mirror image pair makes me think that they might possibly be Japanese Seto porcelain vases, circa the Meiji period (late 19th century). |

Posted By: David C Tue, Sep 17, 2024 Thanks for the reply Robert. I ran them by a couple of people who know more than me and they thought Chinese as I did originally. Never considered Japanese. More research for me. Nonetheless, I appreciate your effort. |
