I think this is a meiping vase with Japanese decor. I tentatively read the mark as 里萬虫 village of the thousand bugs. But I am most likely wrong on that last character. I cold not find anything on the mark. The coat of arms suggest this was made for export to the west, so it might be as old as 18th century. But I would need more images in better resolution as to speculate on its age properly. I hope this helps to kick of your research. Do keep us posted, as this is an interesting item. With kind regards
