Hi, I was hoping someone may be able to give some information about this piece and where it may be from. I have made the assumption it’s from Japan or China but may be way off the mark. I quite like it although I appreciate it’s not to everyone’s taste and may be a mass produced piece. I collect little pots like that this and this one stands just 85mm high. Apologies in advance if I have the wrong form. Many thanks, M (the marks on the base are ineligible by the way)

I think it is a western vase. For some reason it looks Swedish to me. But that's just a vague gut feeling
