I would by very gratefull for translation of inscription on this ink cake. There are only this one inscription and there are no insrciptions on the rands of ink cake. My opinion is that it is from 1st half of 19th century. It is 13,2 x 6,6 x 1,6 cm.

The inscription repeats those found on some Qianlong inksticks: 遂初堂藏墨 ink collected in the Sui Chu Hall (a building in the Forbidden City).

In shape it imitates a Qianlong era ink stone owned by the Palace Museum in Peking.
I think its is from the 20th century.

Inscription reads,
遂初堂蔵墨　Ink of Suichutang (Hall of Following Instinctions)

Product of a Shanghai ink factory.
The upper part is carved with a picture of two gilded dragons playing in water.
