The mark reads: Gyozan 暁山 Zo 造 (made by Gyozan).

This mark is by the (Okada) Gyozan Kyoto pottery, a family pottery. Date: 1920's - 1930's.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the company began to export reproductions of Ninsei, Kenzan and other original Kyo-Satsuma ware under the name of Gyozan to the USA and Europe. Nowadays the company is called Okada Ceramics Corp.

Regards,
Martin.
