Subject:Large Japanese Funeral Urn?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this large lidded jar, funeral urn? There are no markings on the base.
11.5" tall by 7.5" wide. Thanks!

This is a vintage Japanese ginger jar.
The shape, design and form of lid of funeral urns are very different from this jar.

Probably Kyoto or "Kutani", circa 1930s made for export ware.
