Subject:Chinese Qing Vase
Posted By: Ellie Dylan Fri, Feb 17, 2023 IP: 109.78.128.190 Hi, I really like this vase - I have never seen one with pink foo handles before - what do you think itโs worth? Thanks ๐ |

Posted By: Bill H Fri, Feb 17, 2023 Its my recollection that this style of Chinese vase with its pink washed and delineated lion dog mask handles were produced fairly late in the 2nd quarter of the 20th century, during the Republic period. From what I can see of the figures, their painting is fairly traditional, but the heavy outlining of the lion mask on your vase makes it a bit grotesque compared to others done with more delicate brush strokes. In any event, your vase is bound to become a conversation piece on display |
