Cool to the touch, and a knife will not scratch it.
I believe this is Chinese. All opinions welcome. Thanks to all ....

What I can see from those photos, the item is off white quartz.

Quartz off white is one I did not think of and it certainly falls in the hardness scale of 7 which a knife will not scratch.

I agree with our esteemed member Ernest.
The bottle itself is a fantasy piece.
Its crudely carved and highly probable to be a tourist type carving.
I doubt very much that it's nephrite jade.

Appreciate your input Mark and I 100% agree it is a fantasy piece. I have reached out to a another just to get an opinion and it will be interesting what comes back. Will post if I get a reply.
