Subject:Help Identifying Buddhist Bronze

Hi Forum Members,

I am interested in identifying who is represented in this 8 inch (20cm) bronze. My searches of Buddha figures holding a sword turn up images of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of wisdom. It might be holding the sword of wisdom but it does not hold a book of scriptures like most statues of Manjushri. I welcome any information to help identify the bronze, its country of origin, and its possible age.
