Subject:Two flower pots (pair?)

The two similar flower pots were inherited but I don’t know the origin. They are very well painted with different subjects. It looks like the four character marks have variation as well.
About 5 3/4” high x 6 3/4” (and 6 7/8”) diameter; two holes in each bottom.
Please share any observations on these! Thanks-

The planters look very nicely painted.
IMO they are modern pieces from the later 20th Century.
