Subject:Chinese - Blue and White Dragon Vase
Posted By: Vincent Sat, Oct 29, 2022 IP: 2a00:20:6012:232a:5d

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen.

I bought a chinese vase - does anyone could help me identifying the period? And do you think that it has a certain value?

Thanks and best Regards!

Tony Allen's most recent book, "Allen's Antique Chinese Porcelain - The Detection of Fakes", shows a similar mark which is dated to the 4th quarter of the 19th century (Guangxu era). This forum's charter does not encourage the provision of value estimates, but there are a number of websites such as invaluable.com, rubylane.com and trocadero.com where prices are available. Invaluable requires sign-up to view sold prices but trocadero has a searchable archive.

Good luck,

Bill H.

Hi Vincent,
You have a beautiful dragon vase.
I concur with Bill H. It's guangxu period 1875-1908 or possibly early republic period 1912-1949. It doesn't matter either way with value.
Regards,
