Subject:Meiji Mixed Metal Vase
Posted By: Thom de Cant Sun, Sep 25, 2022 IP: 23.105.110.214

Hello,
I am posting a mixed metal vase that I recently purchased. It is made of bronze, copper and inlaid silver. The vase is 9.5cm high and the diameter is 11cm. It is signed, but the mark is a mystery. I would appreciate your help in identifying the maker/artisan, shop/foundry Your help and thoughts are appreciated.

Thank you
Thom

Thank you so much! There were 689 views of this post and you are the only one that replied. I was told the markings were too corroded to identify. I had hit a roadblock and was at a standstill. Now my research can move forward.

Is there a marking or reference that might help to identify the artisan/maker? I appreciate your help and the time you invested.

Respectfully,
Thom
