Your pair of Chinese figurines lack the usual trappings of an emperor and empress but look more to be ancestral images used on a household altar to honor a forebear and wife who bought honor to the family in the civil service or some other capacity. The apocryphal marks read down and across from the top right in standard characters as "Made on order of the Kangxi Emperor" (Kang xi yu zhi). The website gotheborg.com shows a similar mark as in the 1960s.
