looking for information on a bronze vessel that I purchased at an estate sale.
I believe the mark is Xuande, from the research that I have done.
It was the home to a dead tree when I purchased it. I plan on planting a small tree in it, however if it is of value to someone for a collection I will sell it as I am not a collector.
Is it a planter or was the original purpose for some thing else? Is it a remake or an original?
Maybe a ball park figure of price?

Modern, with decorative value only. Would not recommend using it as a planter unless you have an inner container with holes for proper drainage. Also consider that bronze can release potentially toxic amounts of copper and possibly lead when in contact with acidic soil.
