Another Chinese porcelain mark, appreciate any help for reading it. It is on a vintage teapot.

Apocryphal mark that reads down and across from the top right in standard characters as "Made during the Kangxi Reign" (Kangxi nian zhi). Gotheborg.com dates other similar marks to the 1960's. Appears to be rubber-stamped on. The real Qing dynasty Kangxi emperor ruled from 1662-1722. Rubber stamps weren't used then.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Thanks Bill H. I had checked the Gotheborg site but could not find any mark matching with this color and border shape. The range of possible dates is also quite wide. Thanks again for your help.

When I say "similar" I mean it in its guise of "close" but not necessarily warranting a cigar. The gotheborg.com site is a very good source but doesn't have all of these marks.
