Hey guys, this 13-pound, 18" tall x 13" diameter, piece appears to be a Kinkozan Satsuma (mark attached). I asked in a separate post about the mark, but am actually wondering if any of you have even seen anything like it before? I am having trouble finding something comparable to it online or at the auction houses. At a minimum, there are other large lidded and legged jars out there, usually with lions or beasts on them. What would you call it? A large jar, large pot, a sudo-koro? FYI, the lid comes off and it isn't for incense. You could fit gallons of milk inside it!
