Subject:small Chinese Tea pot
Posted By: Jona Wed, Jan 19, 2022 IP: 77.60.154.99 Any information about this tiny tea pot (it's about 3" tall) would be very much appriciated. Age, maker, etc. The lid has been decorated with a monkey (hard to see on the pictures I made).

Posted By: Bill H Thu, Jan 20, 2022 In my opinion, This metal-clad teapot is a third quarter or later 20th century product. As is typical, the pot is transfer decorated and the silvery metal is of very low quality. I can't make out the mark. Appended below is is what I believe is a somewhat more presentable example of this craft form, which I purchased for my archival collection some years ago.
