Dear I.Nagy,
for publisher’s marks and logos of Japanese woodblock prints the best book is: Andreas Marks, Publishers of Japanese Woodblock Prints: A Compendium, Leiden 2011.
In this case the kanji "福川堂" read "Fukusendō" (Mark’s seal no. 25-502).
Kindest regards
Horst

Dear Horst,
Thank you for the recommendation of Marks; A Compendium. I know about it, but I find it a bit expensive, maybe someday I'll catch a cheaper used copy. Until that time I have to make do with the
原色 浮世絵大百科事典 (第三巻)様式 彫摺 版元
/ 大修館書店発行 , however, it contains only 1020 publishers.
This time due to late hours I was too tired to check the reading.
With regards, I remain,
I.Nagy

Your print is by Sadahide Utagawa and is Kanadehon Chushingura, 47 Ronin - Act 7.

I searched the artelino.com auction site. A copy of your print sold for $200 on August 13, 2017. Other prints in the series sold on the same date for $100 - $200 with the exception of Act 9 which sold for $320. The site does declare it as a rare series.

If you set up an account on Artelino, you can view your print here:

Look on the backside, most data are there.
artist: Utagawa Sadahide
title: Kanadehon Chūshingura, act VII (仮名手本忠臣蔵 七段目)
publisher logo: Fukusendō han (= Kawaguchiya Uhei)
censor seal: kiwame seal
date: c. 1840
For other prints from the series search the internet for "Sadahide Chushingura".
Horst
