Subject:Japanese Satsuma mark
Posted By: Martin Michels Tue, Dec 28, 2021 IP: 2001:1c03:5807:8400:

Anyone any idea what is written on the mark below (I.Nagy ?), especially the parts I can't decipher.

The right column starts with Dai Nippon, but I can't figure out the 3 following Kanji.
Then next to the right column: Satsuma Yaki.
The column next to that, something with "Sei" ?
The left is the artists name Köun 光雲.
Thanks in advance,
Martin.

Dear Martin,
Here is the reading,
大日本伊集院 - Dai-Nihon Ijūin
薩摩焼 - Satsuma-yaki
青々園 - Seisei-en
光雲 - Kōun

Ijuin was a village name in Kagoshima prefecture, later merged with Hioki city.

With regards,
I.Nagy
