Subject:Chinese/Japanese Scrolls Wallpaper ? Need help to ID

Had these two scrolls for quite some time. Don't know if they are Chinese or Japanese. There is some writing on the side of the scrolls but I cannot read it. Can someone translate ? Could they be chinese export wallpaper mounted as scrolls or maybe originally part of a screen ?? They are about 20" x 68".



Any comments with respect to age/origin and writing translation would be appreciated.

They are Chinese scrolls,
Inscription on the back,
墨地玉蘭百鳥　四条　生地
Magnolias with hundred birds on ink ground Four scrolls Raw paper

I guess it could be 50-100 years old.
