Subject:Identifying Media and Seals/Signature
Posted By: Jaidyn Kaye Sat, Oct 02, 2021 IP: 72.179.14.0

Hello, looking for help/information on this awesome piece. I have tried to identify the media through the glass but I can’t be sure. I thought it was color pencil/charcoal but some areas appear to be water color. I think the colors are vibrant and it’s framed beautifully but would be interesting to find out more about the piece should anyone have any ideas. Thank you in advance.

It is a watercolor painting, seemingly on paper.
The depicted village scenery is typical Korean.
Inscriptions,
甲申年仲秋 - In the Mid-Autumn Month of the Year of Wood-Monkey (2004)
Signature,
靑雲 - Cheongun (Blue clouds) - Pseudonym
Upper seal,
李丙國印 - Seal of Ri Byeong-guk - Surname and given name of artist

Unidentifiable contemporary artist.

With regards,
I.Nagy
