This is one of two I will be needing help with Translation to determine if the information on the Card it is on is correct. I happened upon many 1930's large cardboard Art Study Boards from the Ryerson Library Art Institute Of Chicago at an Estate Sale recently. Must have been decommissioned or Sold or something for this Estate Sale was a Deceased early Art Collector. This Painting on Silk would have been cut-out of a Scroll more then likely and glued onto these Art Study Boards back in the 1920's 30's. The Institute at that time din't Care so much about Foreign Paper Art or Small Watercolor Paintings to use any Conservative methods of Display! Once again needing to have all the Calligraphy and Seals Translated to see if it does or does not match the Info. the Art Institute Library wrote on the Board. Thank You for your Help! Upper seal,
平成成章　Heisei Seishō

Heisei　平成 , could have been his sobriquet,
it does not emerge from any of the biographies avaiable to me
Seishō　成章、 was his original given name

Lower seal,
芳園之印　　Seal of Hōen

Thousand Thank You's I. Nagy! I am still trying to figure out if these Two paintings are real or not. A Dealer named Peter Text me and gave me some help but thought they may be Reproductions on Silk being they are so small compared to the originals at Auction. Thought I was really good at identifying Paintings from Prints but these have me stumped for now. Always Appreciate your Help! Gary K
