Christian,
The mark on the right reads: Koshida 越田.
For the other mark we need a linguist like I.Nagy to figure that out.

Here some info about Koshida:
Koshida seems to have been a prolific maker of Satsuma from at least the 1880's. Much of their production was decorated by some of the best artists and bears their marks as well as Koshida's. Koshida would have closed about the same time as the Kinkozan factory, circa 1927, but some sources claim the studio continued
till the 1960's, with a temporary stop during WW2.

Martin.

Could it have been painted by Suizan? A similar Koshida/Suizan moon flask sold awhile ago at Skinner's Auction in Massachusetts.

I'm not an expert but I think that your moon flask is one of the best Satsuma (or more likely Kyoto Satsuma) pieces that I have ever seen. All the painting appears to be freehand; for example, the 'circle and dot' border, which in later pieces, even ones from famous makers, would have been done using stencils. I would guess that it was made in the late 19th century or Meiji era. Earlier pieces tend to have a narrower range of enamel colors, gold that is more raised than flat, and they lack the atmospheric (almost airbrushed) effect.
