Subject:Chinese Seal
Posted By: Lee Burns Thu, Aug 12, 2021 IP: 2601:280:c200:c20:31

I am trying to identify the attached seal. I was told it's Chinese. Any positive assistance is greatly appreciated.

Stan

It was painted by an artist who had no idea about Chinese writing.

I already have the test translated from a curator in mainland china. I was seeking confirmation of the text. I was more interested in the Seal. In fact, he's assisting with the identification of the seal.

Therefore your assessment is totally wrong because you can't read early Chinese as only a few can.

If one want to learn remove yourself from the back of the class.

Peace

Sorry, if I was wrong. It is my fault that I can't read early Chinese - so you can be happy to find somebody from the few ones who can. However, I want to see the confirmed text translation and seal reading.
I hope you will not take it amiss.

Anyone who can refute that is very clever.!
Hope you get an answer .+#-=*”#x

I hope the curator in mainland China didn't charge you too much for his or her service.

By the way, did he or she offer you some shares in a gold mine, or the title to the Golden Gate Bridge., because he or she was pulling your leg.

If you had checked a large number of posts on this site you would have seen evidence of I Nagy's prodigious knowledge and generous nature. His skills involve reading very cursive Chinese and Japanese calligraphy, seal script and Chinese and Japanese literature and culture.

That you are doubling down on ignorance is obvious, but you do you.
