Subject:Odd Piece of Art Work

I could really use some help on this piece of Art work.
It looks like it comes from India But it looks a little more abstract than I would have thought
It measures about 22x30 inches
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Decades ago I have seen similar pictures in South America, based on Inka murals.
