Hi Great forum here. Can you let me know about this buddha and mark. Not sure how old it is or where it came from.

It's a japanese figure figure. The main difference between Chinese and Japanese is the detailed bases. Japanese are always very detailed. Whereas as Chinese are very plain.
Not entirely sure about the material though. I don't think it's ivory as I don't see any shregger lines.
If it was bone one would see evidence of calcium deposits.
The base is round. If it was ivory it should be oval. Resin copies are often made with round bases.
Unfortunately your images blur when expanded.
