Subject:Small metallic statue

I am not sure if it (6.5") is Asian, brass or bronze, and from which period / culture?
I really appreciate your input on this, please!

Hi,

That actually looks Mesoamerican to me rather than Asian (just going on the headgear). If that's the case, it's likely comparatively modern (20th century).
