Subject:Another pair of foo dogs

It is another pair of small foo dogs, made of stone.
I would really appreciate your inputs for what kind of stone and from which period they were made.

These are chinese Foo dogs or guardian lions.
They are I believe modern interpretations.
Inconclusive to what the material is. Could be treated serpentine.

I just did the scratch test, and it was scratched as you both suspect, serpentine :)

Do the scratch test which I think will show you that this is made from Serpentine.
