The mark reads: Dai 大 Nippon 日本 - Chikusa 千種 - Seito 製陶 Kaisha 會社 Zo 造 (= Great Japan - Chikusa - Made by the Porcelain Manufacturing Company).

Product of the Seito (= Pottery Manufacturing) Kaisha (= Company) and transfer printed decorated in Chikusa (Chigusa), a district of Nagoya City. Date: circa 1900.
