Subject:need help reading the painter's signature
Posted By: Jakub Belimacor Fri, May 07, 2021 IP: 31.42.14.236

Sorry for my bad English. I'm going to buy the image below because I like it. Before I do this, I would like to ask for your help in reading the seal, or for specifying the time when the painting was created. Even the answer that you don't know anything will be satisfactory for me.
Greetings

The artist's seal reads,
連鑌 - Lián Bīn - Surname and given name

Unidentifiable painter.

It looks me very much as a modern imitation of Qing Dynasty historical painting with artificial stains. The frame is the another typical example of artificial wood aging with likely scratches. Modern forgery.

With regards,
I.Nagy

Thank you very much for your answer. The question is not whether it is a fake or not. I don't have enough money to buy an old, original item with certified origins. The idea is to collect things that we like - not things that may have an imaginary value. greetings
