Subject:Japanese 4-Panel Silk Screen (1960s)
Posted By: Doug Carroll Sun, Mar 01, 2020 IP: 172.242.45.123 I'm settling my father's estate and have this Vintage four-panel Japanese Byobu screen depicting a pine tree branch; we lived many years in Japan in the 1960s. Any help you can provide in identifying the artist, value, or how I might have it restored/cleaned, would be greatly appreciated.

I can't remember what I said about the byōbu, but since it's a family piece, it has more symbolic value than monetary value. I definitely wouldn't dare to guess at a price or restoration cost—only professionals who can see it in person could determine that. Best!"
