Rajkumari Mandal depicts tools and materials in the sewing room of the Janakpur Women’s Development Center (JWDC). The scissors are like lithe as dancers, and the spools of thread and a needle are also gracefully and meticulously painted. Crippled by polio, Rajkumari Mandal paints precisely what she observes occurring near to her home and the JWDC.
