Cotton textile mordant dyed with motifs of eight hamsa ( goose ) around a lotus flower. Made in India for export to Indonesia. The motif of hamsa, the vehicle of Brahma, was popular for a certain period in India and fragments with this particular design were found in Egypt as well in Indonesia. Trading company seal on one end.

In very good condition.
