A pair of Chinese cloisonne enamel vases with globular bodies, cylindrical necks and garlic rims, applied with gilt copper mask and ring handles, decorated with magpies among flowers between bands of stiff leaves and fierce lion masks. Jiaqing/Daoguang period, circa 1820-30.
