A fine and unusual Chinese blanc de chine group of Guanyin seated in a pierced rocky grotto leaning on a three-legged stool, a small bird and vase modelled to either side of her. She wears flowing robes and a cowl and holds a ruyi sceptre in her left hand. Kangxi period, 17th/18th century.
Lower tip of sceptre invisibly restored.
Wood stand.
