Sunga Goddess

Set in a flaming aureole, bodhisattva Vajrapani, protector of the faith, stands in pratyalidhasana brandishing a thunderbolt (vajra) with his right hand and with the left hand in threatening gesture. His frightening look is enhanced by a profusion of snakes adorning his body. Two spotted felines (leopards) behind the crown in his raised hair.
