A pair of large Chinese bronze hanging wine-jars and covers, Hu, each with a tall spreading foot and ribbed, compressed globular body, with chains attached from the mask handles to the cover rims, and hanging chain supports above.
Warring States/ early Han dynasty, c. 300-200BC.
perspex stands and mounts.

Provenance: From a private source, purchased in Hong Kong circa 2001.
