Decorated in bright enamels, the design shows a scene from the Western Chamber with a couple leaving a house where a dignitary is standing. The serpentine border is decorated with eight pomegranate shaped reserves decorated with blossoming branches of lotuses and peonies alternating with brilliant enamelled coloured sections.
