Detail: Our upcoming Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art sale will take place on 25 October in London. Spanning South Asia across the 20th and 21st centuries, this specially curated collection of works will showcase the diverse, idiosyncratic and extraordinary corpus of art from this region. The sale will build on the record-breaking results from the department’s sale in New York in March this year, which saw an exceptional 95% of lots sold, 17 world auction records and a sale total of $9.6 million.
