Kuber Singh Shakya made these four multipart, gilt repoussé
images for Dharmacakra-vihara on Mañjuari hill near Svayambhu
stupa in the 1940s. They represent, left to right, Padmasambhava,
Maitreya, Sakyamuni Buddha and Mañjusri. The hands are
solid cast by another artist-artisan. The central image
is ca. 75 cm. high.
