Prajnaparamita means “highest wisdom” or “perfection of wisdom” and usually refers to a category of Mayahaya scripture including the Heart Sutra and the Diamond Sutra. Iconographically, Prajnaparamita is a goddess holding a vajra to her right and the Prajnaparamita Sutras to her left. Her lower hands are in the teaching mudra of turning the wheel of dhama.
