Mongolian

She is Goddess of Winter and along with her three season-symbolizing sisters is associated with Palden Lhamo. The four of them appear on large thangkas of Palden Lhamo each riding a particular symbolic animal. Gungyi Lhamo, who rides a bactrian camel, is particularly popular among the Mongolians of the Gobi Desert who breed and ride bactrian camels.
