Two blue and white saucer dishes, 1900s or newly made? |
Posted By: Garrett Posted Date: Oct 20, 2013 (12:58 PM) |
Message These are newly made and imitate the Ming shape and design. The foot rim is not close enough but the glaze is too reflective for something during the Ming dynasty. Also, the blue pigment is a little off from genuine Ming pieces. This could be a contemporary reproduction made in Japan. Post a Response |
