lamp? chinese? japanese? |
Posted By: richard t Posted Date: Apr 19, 2010 (05:50 AM) |
Message hello i was wondering if anyone could identify the origin of this lamp. http://home.iprimus.com.au/mkhulu65/lamp.htm the pottery lamp on wooden base measures 29cm high. the light fittings are made of metal. i'd guess this piece is from the 1st quarter of the 20C, made for the european market. there are NO markings on the lamp hence no photos. i actually also have a small bowl with similar drawings - clearly from the same source, possibly the same maker. my guess is chinese? any help most appreciated. regards richard Post a Response |
